Of course, the local guy who’s future depends on the tournament being in New Orleans is going to say great things.. While they may have had the best year in a while, it doesn’t take away from the fact that if this event was moved to a larger market, that currently doesn’t have a tournament, they could command higher prices, bring in larger crowds which will lead to even more concessions and merchandise sales.. The PGA Tour moving to a for-profit organization is going to have to do something to increase revenues somehow especially to make those stock options they just gave the players worth the valuation
