You couldn't see anyone in that video, how do you know he wasn't still a threat? He was still able to talk, so if he had a gun himself he would probably be able to use it. Why take the chance, empty the magazine.

No, if he’d ran out after being shot and she chased/shot him again, that might be problematic for Granny.
Based on what’s been shown, inside her house she was well within her rights to pull a magdump on him.

When I went through a shooting class taught by my local sheriff deputies they taught us to continue shooting until the threat is ended. Aim for center mass-between the nipples and keep firing until the subject is no longer a threat.
This shooting occurs prior to the person being "subdued". They are then stuffed into a body bag.
