Unfortunately he's not wrong. If we don't pull a rabbit out our hat at DT we are looking at a defense that was worse than last years. We don't have a Heisman dual threat QB that can will us a game or two to compensate this year.

If the defense did end up as bad or worse than last year this team might be lucky for 6 win season with how difficult the schedule is. Really go back and watch the games. JD was practically unstoppable all year and could just score with the ball in their hands every attempt. There's no way this offense will be that good.
You were looking at a historically bad defense so much so the offense had so much pressure they had to score every drive. This offense may end up being good but there's absolutely no way they can meet that pressure because it's inevitably going to be worse than that offense by default. With an absolutely brutal schedule one of the hardest in the SEC.

You don’t think with a proper D-Line coach a combination of Shand, Guillory, Lee, grad transfer from Wiscy and the freshman can’t be decent?
