Those aren’t close to the best ones. I picked 5 in a row to be realistic and fair of a normal dispersions for me

These are good ones for me. Once again with range balls

So about a 290 average carry there. Look, I didn’t bring up this in this thread. I’m not a great golfer. I’m an 11 handicap. I hit my irons like a pussy as well. But my driver distance is what it is. And if you ever want to put your money where your internet mouth is the bet is open

Well with those numbers you average 260.2 yards.. 5% deviation for range balls and you're looking at 273 ...

If we drop the best shot then your average was 259 with a deviation on 12.95 .. so looking at 271.95 on average...

That said .. that was 5 good shots .. let's do 100 or more and really get a good number.. if I had to guess it would drop off well under that 270ish average....

Look up, I didn’t pick my best shots at all…. I picked my average ones

My best of the day was 281 pre conversion. The ones above were three in a row all over 270 pre conversion

Best and worst

With a smaller sample size sure... But added to the other 5 you posted your average with deviation is only slightly higher @277.. which is respectable... But lets see all the data to determine..

Added the best and worst in there ... Still around 277ish

Yep

There is a reason from the earlier thread I said “I average carry about 275”. Because I have a shite ton of data to base that off

And it’s not a brag. I am young and athletic so hitting it kinda far isn’t really that impressive.I still overall suck at golf the sport and would get crushed by most on this board

I get it, and not saying anything to the contrary.. I think the others issue is concerning real world on course scenarios versus a controlled environment where you're hitting the same club over and over and over.. It's why I've had to practice a little different I've the past year.. Just going and banging ball after ball with the same club gets too rhythmic to where I didn't get comfortable on course...

I'm not young (44)and I once considered myself athletic.. But I still hit it pretty far. Hell the 3 guys I played with yesterday there were times I'm hitting my 7w and they hit driver and I'm was still 15 to 20 yards further... Yet they hung with me because they were just more accurate 150 and in.. Distance is important but it's not the end all be all..

That machine is way off .. no way you are spinning that much with that much angle of attack.

2400 spin is alot with driver? Thought that was close to ideal. I feel like the spin thing confuses the hell out of me. Too much, too little, it’s the shaft no it’s the head etc. frick just let me swing and drink my beer

With the angle of attack it says you have - spin should be well below 2000 .. probably like 1800ish … something is not right with those numbers ..

Possibly. On course it’s not uncommon for my driver ball to plug. The height and angle is definitely extreme.

Our trackman range unfortunately doesn’t give the spin data and such to compare

I meant launch angle. Sorry about that

I mean why would launch angle mean low spin? You can launch one way in the air and be spinny as frick.

Seems sometimes the higher ones are more spinny for me. My lower drives have far better run out

Not going to tell you anything.

I'm guessing his dynamic loft is high along with spin through wrist action at impact and inconsistent contact. Hence the smash factor being low
