Rig up a Navitron 555G marine autopilot under your dash. It can be configured to act as a cruise control, and also provides many other useful features like NMEA output and a high-volume klaxon.

I know two words out of all this: Cruise control

Get a nice straight pine tree branch and cut a few notches in it. Insert a big eye hook into a coke can filled with cement and place in cup holder.

Did you know that UGA, until recently, only offered engineering programs in Biology and Agriculture?

BTW, my Tundra is 11 years older and it has cruise control. And Toyota is famous/notorious for being behind the times in electronics.

I went for a test drive on city streets and didn’t realize it didn’t have it. When I got on the highway afterwards, I found out it doesn’t.

Congrats on being a ding dong.

I think I’ve used cruise control 10x in my life tops. I wish I could give you mine.

Didn't really like cruise and only used it occasionally on long trips on stretches w little traffic. Then I drove a car w adaptive.cruise and was hooked. Total game changer for long road trips but also useful for other highway driving. I sped up my next car purchase and moved from a standard BMW 328 to a used VW Alltrack w adaptive cruise. The adaptive cruise made daily driving back and forth 2 hrs each way on 98 much more tolerable than driving stick when we were displaced for 6 months after hurricane Michael.

I use mine but on long trips will look down and see that I am five miles below the speed limit just plodding behind someone.

It happens to me as well every now and then. Still exponentially better than traditional cruise control.

Buddy picked me up to play golf one morning and had a brick on the floor of his olds. He was notoriously tight, cc had broken and he wouldn’t pay to have it fixed. When up to speed he slid the brink over the excelerator peddle.
