Ron Paul did. He's my favorite American politician ever, but it's bullshite. Very few Americans leaving the country are driving to/through Mexico. If things in this country get so bad that mass amounts of Americans are trying to escape into Mexico, then the wall would be the least of our problems.

Never make the gov’t bigger or give them more power. At the point we have a southern border wall, the federal gov’t will control every point of entrance/exit to the country. Remember when Canada prevented its citizens from crossing the border if they refused vaccination? Did you know the IRS can suspend your passport?
