I’m not shocked that people want to leave Canada, as someone who goes to Toronto a lot it’s sad to see the downfall of a once great city in real time. The Canadian government favors the “new Canadians” coming in from all over the Middle East, the government gives them new houses and everything while pushing out the real Canadians farther and farther away from cities.

I genuinely believe this is deliberate to demoralize the citizenry and isolate them from effecting power. They move away and become less involved and less connected to the center of all things.

I meet a lot of Canucks who come here to fish, or other recreational activities. I love Yukoners, very down to earth and humble folks. Like we used to be 60 years ago.
