Harsin didn’t want to coddle a bunch of freaking agents and parents with their hands out. He didn’t want to even court the ego’s that come with the 5*’s, he wasn’t about to even try to play their game.

He thought he could come in, establish a solid work ethic and create accountability to build a competitive team. He failed to understand recruiting is a must at the SEC level and an unproven coach has to wade through a ton of shite talking, hand shaking and molly-coddling boosters to get the money in place to pay the talent.
