No, I don't think you're wrong, but, like others have basically said, is this the hill to die on? I'd do it, but then I'd lay out your case about needing down time and having the time to get things done. Trying to do you weekly job and get all your house stuff done between traveling weekends is no fun. Unless she wants to mow the lawn.
