The average lane is 12ft wide. The average interstate is 2 lanes wide. When writing a ticket on the right shoulder, all motorists would be breaking the law.

I'm with free on this one. Somebody's getting arrested on one side of the street and I'm breaking the law walking on the other side of the street? Nah, I'm good.
