Which is an astoundingly stupid thing to believe. This shouldn't be hard to understand: It'll be extremely easy to prove you did something wrong. You killed a man in his own home. You're going to jail.

Assuming the guy knew it was the cops by the time he opened the door, assuming he's not confused and shocked and not at all concerned that it was actually the cops, then I agree, it's not smart to do. It's never a good idea. It's also not a good idea to murder a citizen who has done nothing wrong. This cop did everything wrong. He's an idiot. He can't be in society anymore.
