The runners lane is to the right of the foul line. For 80% of his run to 1st, he was to the left of the foul line. By rule, it’s interference. It was bad baseball by LSU, but it was also interference.

Exactly.
Has everyone forgot the lesson we got in the tournament last year? One millimeter to the left is interference.
That said, we blew that game. No one to blame but ourself. But it was 100% by the rule interference.
