Had an eventful night. Heard a bang or pop at about 3 am. I nudge the husband and tell him I hear something (I do this all the time and 99.999% it is nothing) so he gets up to investigate. I hear him turn off the alarm and open the front door and he closes it. I can hear him running back to our room and tells the house across the street is on fire. So I jump out of bed and call 911. He runs outside and starts banging on neighbors door to get them out their house. We have lots of trees in our hood and the embers falling from the fire made me so nervous that it would catch other houses on fire. We live in garden homes that are close to each other. The house was a complete loss and the house next door caught fire. Four fire trucks showed up and caught the second house in enough time to save it although it will have to have work done since the roof was completely on Fire and Water damage. Everyone is ok and all pets were rescued.
