I thought about this however, I did nothing to fill the line with fuel as I plugged it back in.

I had this same thing happen to me a couple years ago on an old D130. I was only getting it running in order to sell it.


Did the same thing you did and it fired right on up and cranked and ran when the buyer came and picked it up.

I still see the baw who bought it around and it’s still mowing with no problems.

I’ve always wondered what was going wrong though. Only thing I could think was the gas in the carb evaporated and vapor locked. Taking the hose off released the vapor and allowed fresh fuel in.

But I’m a long way from a mechanic so I don’t even know if that makes sense.
