After we have all seen this before, who in the world was still sitting on shorts of GME? Are this risk takers trying to catch that little squeeze? Or are there so many short shares in some kinds of automated etf's that gme always fits in its algorithm?

The theory, backed up by SEC documents, is that the big shorters (hedge funds, banks, billionaires) never closed. They covered. They kicked the can down the road.
This "short" "741" video that was released last night can help explain a lot.
