It happened to me. The offense is NBA ready right now. He dropped 37 on 60% shooting in the title game against Clingan and UCONN. I don't think the defense is bad. Turns out it's really hard to score on a 7'5 guy with a 7'11 wingspan.
I'll put it this way, we had a top 6 defense two years in a row starting JV. Even against the Thunder, defense wasnt the issue.
I think Edey's floor on defense is higher than what JV is right now on defense. If he does get blown by, he had the crazy length to recover and affect the shot.
