rorys odds moved from +800 to +750 on my book after the divorce news. Pretty much nothing but slightly positive Looks like this moron got lucky with how the betting markets would respond?

you think the small move was because of the divorce announcement? This entire exchange by your wild speculation that “the worst was over”. Your shift to betting markets is bizarre. It’s ok to say you were speculating and hadn’t thought it through.

Shift to betting markets you stupid frick? The entire response I gave was about the betting market for this one tournament. The betting market doesn’t give a flying moneys arse if Rory’s divorce gets nasty in 3 months. They see Rory has won his last two tournaments and is in a great space right now. The betting market isn’t viewing this recent news as anything besides neutral to positive

it surely couldn't have anything to do with Rory winning b2b tournaments (that he won because he filed for divorce, it's obvious) and the world #1 just having a baby a week ago. It's definitely because the hard part is over for Rory's divorce by starting the process and now he's going to go beast mode.

Pride just cant' help himself but add ill-informed opinions to anything he says. If he had just said "His head space seems to be ok right now considering he dominated the same weekend he filed for divorce" I don't think anyone would have made an issue of it. But he just had to add "the hard part is behind him" and then debate betting markets and his mental health with his divorce based on how he's playing in golf tournaments. Betting markets can be influenced by a whole lot of things, some things that have nothing to do with Rory. His performances in golf tournaments too. Rory played poorly leading up to the PGA last year too in some of the same tournaments he played poorly in this year.
