This is all so dumb and a total waste of time and money for the state to implement a ban.

While I'm sure a lot of this is driven by social conservatism given the bill's sponsor. A lot of it is culture war BS. Cannabis is seen as "something liberals do." A lot of these "conservatives" see it as more of a lifestyle than a political ideology. Protectionism and banning things they don't like is more important than conservative principles like freedom, choice, and free enterprise.

Have yall noticed the amount of mixed drinks put on the shelves the past 5 years that now include Vodka?
