Morals and Politics are different. And their venue is different. No one wants to hear Kap talk. And no one wants to watch a football game and see political action.
On the flipside, Butker was invited to a Catholic College, to talk to Catholic Kids, about his Catholic world view. It's an invitation, that would have never been given a news cycle without the internet.
Whereas Kap shoved it in everyone's face whether they wanted to hear it or not.

If no one pays attention to the anthem, why kneel during it? Wouldn't no one notice?
Oh wait.... it is important. And he knew it would be. The fact that people pay attention is exactly why he did it.
Now if he would have kneeled in solidarity at his home, yeah no one would have cared unless the news told people to.
