Devout Catholic women know that the most important thing they can do is raise a family in the faith. Even somewhat devout Catholics understand the message. What level are you? Claim it for cred? You poncy school boy.

Wait, are you now saying Butker didn’t say the majority of women in that room wouldn’t be happier staying at home with their children over their career?

Why is there something wrong woth saying they would be happier staying home?

He didn't say they have to stay home. He didn't say they can't have jobs. He didn't even say they shouldn't. He just pointed out that they would be more fulfilled at home.

There's nothing wrong or derogatory or misogynist about that statement.

He probably should have added that men should be present in children's lives (oh the horror), that we should honor our parents ( and yes that means in laws) and that children should obey.

All terrible things.

There is nothing wrong with a woman being happier staying at home. There is nothing wrong with saying some women will be happier staying at home

I think saying a majority of you will be happier staying at home is somewhat arrogant especially to a group of college grads. Not the end of the world, but a little arrogant.

But I’m just pointing out he did in fact say it

I have made all of this clear in this thread. Maybe if you weren’t so quick to judge and actually listened. You know, as God would tell you then you would have seen the below

quote:

He didn’t tell women they should stay home, he simply said some women are happier being mom than having a career, which is 100% true. A less judgmental peachy religious nut could have said

“Some of you women will become doctors, lawyers, accountants have have successful careers and that is wonderful. But some of you here will give that up to be mothers and homemakers, and that’s great too. Don’t let the media lie to you and tell you that you can’t be fulfilled being a wife and mother if you choose. That’s a life worth being proud of as well”

If those are Catholic beliefs why is a Catholic college taking 30k a year from women on a degree? Seems like theft on the part of the church. They should instead teach Thais women the majority of them would be happier to not waste that money and instead find a man to start a family with

I wasn't aware that the women attending that school were forced to be there. Learn something new everyday.

They aren’t forced. But it sure would have been nice for the church to sit them down and tell them the majority of them will be happier just being at home anyway. Could save them a lot of money on the front end

It's just a weird thing for a person to blanket say to a group of people who probably just dropped 6 figs on a college degree and are looking forward to beginning their adult lives.

He probably hadn't personally spoken to a single graduate for more than a few minutes before making that remark.

How the hell would he know?

I'd be fricking pissed if my daughter went to a 33k per year (just tuition) school and on graduation night told me she wasn't interested in working.

My issue with Butker almost solely lives with IVF

When you have nieces and nephews that you adore created through IVF, you really don’t give a shite what some people “feel” based on scripture from a being

I can hold and hug those nieces and nephews. If God has issues with it he can send me straight to hell. Not worried about it

There's a right and wrong way to do IVF... but catholic doctrine is pretty straightforward on it.

Weird thing to get mad about especially since you have no connection to the school

Cool. Catholic doctrine is also straightforward in their support of trannies now as well.

You feel cool about that? Harrison feel cool about that?

I have an aunt that needed IVF. She's SUPER catholic. Church multiple days a week type of woman and is probably on church property 4 or 5 days a week doing volunteer work and serving her community. She was a catholic school teacher for 40 years. Her 3 children were all conceived through IVF because her husband was sterile. She doesn't apologize for it and would do it again given the chance.

All that great work for the catholic church and a lifelong devotion to serving God down the drain. She'll burn in hell for eternity.

I just want to hear how everyone here also supports the Catholic Church and their support of tranneis being involved with it now….

Hell I would love to specifically ask Grtiger and freauzen:

How do you feel about trannies now taking part in the sacraments and allowed to be godparents? Full agreement correct?
