Chris Williamson podcast.

A really solid discussion on GLP1s and the benefits/risks.

Well as someone who has struggled with weight, I would probably take it if I could but my doctor said I don't qualify since I don't have diabetes most of my bloodwork is normal. I've always thought about the surgery but I can't see myself going through with it because of the cost and I would always feel like I "cheated" and it wouldn't stick. I've lost up to 80 pounds before and most of it came back.

I signed up to Reds in November and I'm down 30 pounds since then and around 50 from my heaviest. I notice my clothes fits better but I don't really see a difference. My wife tells me it's obvious that I'm losing so it is motivating that it's a noticeable change. Exercising has made me feel a lot better though as opposed to before when I lost weight it was mainly just dieting. I go at least 3 times a week right now and I'll probably be able to go more often when school gets out.

I would say that the majority of people are lazy just like I was which is the main reason for their weight, but that's not to say that some people have legitimate reasons for their weight being what it is. If I could get a prescription that would almost guarantee me to be healthier than I was before, I would be all over it. I wouldn't want to have to take it forever though so that's another reason I think a lifestyle change is more beneficial overall.

Zepbound is the FDA approved Monjuara for non diabetics, for instance. And the compound which is available online or at weight clinics is called Tirzepatide. If you wanted to take it, you can. Not that you should, that's between you and the doc.

Check out 777's thread on the fitness board.

Friend, the only thing you need to be concerned with cheating is death. Cheat death. Seek medical guidance from a qualified doctor, ideally with ASMBS and DABOM behind the MD. There is at least one in New Orleans

So all you guys are anti vax but loving what pharma is serving up here lol just wait. We will revisit this thread when your intestines and other organs malfunction

Don’t give me the this has been tested for years with diabetes…people being treated for diabetes are constantly sick

ETA: to the moral failing guy above, I have zero concern with the morality of this, just taking stock of how full of shite pharma is , how they run the fda and pay the bills of the news media to keep pumping their product. I highly doubt anything they say is safe.

With all that said, that just my opinion obv

Breathe through your nose, mate. And quit dragging your knuckles on the ground when you walk. Chicks hate that.

Here you go genius, right in the article with plenty more issues than constipation. Granted, you likely cannot read.

The FDA is warning patients prescribed Ozempic about the potential to develop blocked intestines.
Blocked intestines, known clinicially as ileus, is a serious and potentially fatal condition.

My mom died in the Great Meet Me at Sonic Donnybrook of 2011. Now let’s get back to talking about your mom’s intestines.

It was a great informative thread with lots of quality information before you came wishing death on all your fellow baws. Maybe consider you may be a little narrative heavy and a little data light and chill out a bit. I already have at least 3 women wishing death on me, that’s enough .

You post like you know the side effects of the drugs on non diabetics or even diabetics. You sound like a nurse acting like a source. Cancer rates are thru the damn roof, everyone has one degree of separation on someone dying of cancer and yet you act so sure that American zombies getting pumped full of garbage pharmaceuticals (large % of pop just walking pieces of meat and look braindead - look around airports, grocery stores, Costco this isn’t normal) are just normal and benefitting. We have some of the sickest, fattest slobs in the world right here in America, something is wrong with our food and our culture of taking meds for everything. We aren’t healthier because of all the medicine and amazing treatments here in the USA we are sicker.

I wouldn’t be so sure if I were you. To each their own.

Its a bitch to get ozempic because of all the woman taking it for weight loss.

It truly is a miraculous drug for diabetes. No insulin, 1 shot a week, A1C within normal range.
