jacksonville seems like a wonderful place to be a 50 year old white country club member that knows a few boat owners

but god damn it is a boring place to visit

Thats a great way to describe it

Lot of stuff to do if you live here (I guess not really if you're the type who has to go to concert every weekend or something) but not much for visitors

That's fair. It is probably a better place to live than to visit for "excitement". The draw is just the beach.

That said, there are plenty of NFL cities that are not exciting. Atalanta blows. Seattle is very mediocre other than some cool scenery. Houston sucks. Foxboro is an hour from Boston. Buffalo?
