No. Let it run. You don’t need to do anything until you get to 100 hours of run time. Then you should shut it down, change the oil, and fire it back up.

That’s bad advice. Air cooled engines have heat related damage if run too long consecutively. Most standby generator manufacturers recommend not letting run under a load more than 9 hrs then letting them cool down for 1-2 hrs.
This is especially true if you have a Generac. The have a bad rep.
