My dad and three of his buddies were duck hunting one time when Green Jeans walked up and checked them. They had six ducks between them. He said, "I've been watching you all morning and as much as y'all were shooting I was sure you were way over the limit. When I get back to town I'm telling everybody what terrible shots you are "

There's a case in the Louisiana Supreme Court dealing with this exact issue.

Sounds like it's time for some purple paint

Purple paint? wildlife agents see that and think “baw don’t want nobody on his prop. He must be hiding something. Let’s investigate. After all, we ARE da law ‘round dees parts”.

Those tv shows sure paint them in a bad light and they still try to justify their actions. "Just doing my job". Find another job you useless POS.

Yep. I've never encountered a Texas Game Warden, but that show "Lone Star Law" makes em look like the Gestapo of the brush country out harassing anyone they can find.

I saw something on twitter a while back of a guy finding game cams on his property sometimes pointed right at his house or shed/workshop etc.

They have more power than most LEO. Kinda crazy but it is. I hate those poachers, I can work with the agents but I don't want to give up my rights to them for nothing. I've never had them check my lic. The new thing most of them are doing is just waiting by your vehicle for you to return. No need chasing you down, just wait for you.

They are. Especially if you make the list.
