Biden won't debate him, regardless

Exactly the sentiment on this board in 2020. Then Biden debated him; Trump destroyed himself; and Biden left with a bump in the polls.

They'll pump Biden full of adderall and set him loose. Too bad Trump can't stall during the debate and wait for the adderall to wear off

This should be a term for the debates. Joe is sequestered and observed for 6 hours prior to the debate and not allowed to have any stimulants.

Same thing would happen now. A debate with Biden egging him on and Trump's pent-up aggression would be a disaster.

Trump would be smart to say early next week. Joe wouldn’t have too much prep

NEW: Biden proposes debates in June & Sept with strict guidelines:

- no @RobertKennedyJr
- no audience; inside TV studio
- no Commission on Debates; prevents RFK from qualifying at 15%
- microphones only active when candidate's turn to speak
- moderators must be CBS News, ABC News, CNN, or Telemundo

(per NYT)

June means that the Biden campaign knows the first debate could go poorly. People will forget it even happened by November, and Trump will have been knee deep in trials with little time to prepare

Trump is only available on Wednesdays for the next few weeks.

That was an entire stage of dementia ago.

June is also before the GOP convention.

Even with Trump sealing the nomination, why the frick would he agree to a debate to take place before he is formally nominated?

If CNN , CVS and ABC are allowed, so should Fox News, The Blaze and Epoch should also.

Exceptionally odd.

I understand perfectly why Biden team is making these demands, though.

Every time Trump does anything, its the same shite.

"unforced error!"
"who is advising this guy!"
"what is he thinking!?!"

There's very few traps that can be set with a Biden debate at this stage. He should not accept Bidens terms without challenge, but in general, any debate with Biden is a fairly safe bet for Trump.

Live audience for all

Gross. There is zero reason for their to be an audience at a debate. It isn't a pep rally.

Hunter will slip the old man some Bolivian marching powder.

I don't like the exclusive list of moderators. It's a setup. You can already see Trump’s mic getting accidentally turned turned off early.

Counter proposal:
Debate in august
Debate in September
Debate in October

Vp debate in September

Live audience for all with 4 different networks

Why the frick would trump debate in June

I would agree if Trump hadn't said any time any place.

He painted himself into a corner when saying this.
