I was on a 50mccg/hour fentanyl patch for 2 years and quit them cold turkey when the whole NELA area ran out at year end after Aron’s Pharmacy sold and had to relicense with the DEA. They caused a chain reaction with all the nursing homes they supplied scrounging for all narcotics for the old folks.

My hydrocodone is at a higher dosage than most too. But even with those meds they jump straight to dilaudid when I get to the ER. Sometimes they dose me before they can even get me signed in, well before lab draws.

But I have never abused opiates knowing since early childhood there are alternatives to get high that are not as badly addictive. Simply, don’t abuse opiates, it’s not rocket science, the most hood of idiots can figure it out.
