Now, that is a complete lie. It was Texas who came crawling on their droopy titties and hooves begging the SEC to take them. UTx went to OU about approaching the SEC together for admission.
As for academic standards, Georgia and Florida are as equally tough as Texas while Vanderbilt exceeds Texas. So, don't come here with that excuse.

I really don't get the academic smack. It's not like it applies to the football players.
