I've done both
Worked for about 20 years in an office where I had to get dressed up and commute 45 minutes each way.
I banged office sluuts and did happy hours 3-4 times a week
Now (past 7 years) I've worked from home and dress like a bum daily
Gym shorts, cap , t shirt , gained 45 lbs and my best friend is the dog
I'll take the working from home, BTW I'm about to get off at 1:30 pm since I started working at 5:30 am
