Not all younger generation folk want to screw off all day working from home. Have a friend whose son just quit his remote job for an office job so he would have more opportunity for mentorship and interaction with more senior engineers.

That makes sense for someone getting started in a career.

Some of us more seasoned folk don't mind spending the time we would have dicked off at the office, actually accomplishing some things at home.
It's a balance/trade off to have a couple telework days, which you can then accomplish a few smaller tasks at home. That's great for morale and leads to better productivity when actually working.
