To be honest it’s way easier to list the towns in Louisiana that aren’t awful. That list is much shorter.

Mandeville
Covington
Lafayette
Ruston
St Francisville

That’s about all I got. The ones that are close to making the list simply have too much trash from nearby comes to town and ruins the whole vibe.

New Orleans is spending $20m on Lights for a bridge when they can't keep the streets from flooding.

Very strong contender, especially since Yellow Bowl closed. Place was actually still halfway decent about 20 years ago, but now is complete utter garbage.

If we’re only counting the towns 10K and higher, I’d have to put Alexandria, Shreveport and Houma on the list.

Certainly can't argue against Ellick being a crap hole of a city. High crime, stupid traffic especially for it's size (the infamous south traffic circle), old rundown mall, nothing, absolutely no business will invest in locating in Alex due to the above.
AND, no decent Italian restaurant!

Ferriday?

Jerry Lee, Jimmy, and Mickey would beg the differ. All of them had the drive for success to prevent themselves from having to return there.
