2 great local breweries, an open container pedestrian district in Bossier lined with bars restaurants and an outdoor music venue, a great small community in south Shreveport with a great park, lake and events lined with a cigar lounge top notch restaurants and yet another outdoor music venue. A few phenomenal local restaurants (Franks, Franks pizza, fat calf, ki mexico etc), and a few local downtown festivals that are super easy to attend...yea... nothing here. total shite hole. Sorry. But it is a shitehole. And its community is too. I volunteer time in rescue and Caddo Parish absolutely sucks. They can’t fix or care for their pets who are dying in droves bc of the evil director at CPAS. And never-mind how bad S’port has gone downhill over the years. It was once a decent place. Years ago.
