95% chance this is dogshit

I hope they address the LIV/PGA stuff. Would be hilarious if Shooter signed with LIV in his push for a comeback

I think the chances are high that this is one of the worst movies ever made.

It's got some stiff competition from other Sandler movies for that honor

Need to go ahead and make Heavyweights 2 for the Evil Ben Stiller sequel trilogy.

They should have done this a long time ago. Not so much now. I’ll never understand waiting almost 30 years for a sequel.

I don't think a sequel 30 years ago would've been any good. But weirdly, I think this one may be okay due to how long it's been. And if they lean hard into the silliness of it, I think it could work well. The social media battles between Sandler and McDonald have been great.

The amount of money Netflix has bestowed upon Sandler for virtually zero return is just fascinating.

Name 2 Sandler Netflix films that anyone has ever watched a second time?

Now name 10 Sandler theatrical releases that you have watched more than once...

It has to be one of the greatest movie heists in history.

I believe Sandler movies are pretty massively popular on Netflix and generate millions of views. If you look at his box office numbers even prior to NF, he's one of the more bankable stars of the last 30 years really. Not sure what your gripe is...that you don't personally like his movies? Well tons of other people seem to, so what exactly are you mad about?

Aside from Top Gun: Maverick, I'm having a hard time thinking of a sequel that far apart from the original that turned out well.

Sandler is making a fortune off Netflix because most of those netflix disasters never would have seen a theater

I don’t want this at all.

With that said I will pay for a month of Netflix to watch it simply because of how much I love the first one.

I can't imagine Drew Carey in that role

no but it would be funny to bring Drew Carey on and make fun of him for sucking at Bob Barkers job, then Drew kicks Happy's arse too.

Not sure about two but The Wrong Missy was funny. Sandler isn't in it but it is from Happy Madison Productions.

That should be part of the movie. Happy and Shooter giving each other shite on social media. That makes both of them come out of retirement.

This needs to be more about Shooter than Happy.

But the plot will either be:
A) Happy has to come back to golf for some reason, but he's lost his touch. Enter Shooter for a Rocky/Apollo old rival turned mentor situation.
B) banned for life due to his previous actions, Shooter started another league that took off and its up to happy to return and save golf
C) A new hotshot golfer is taking over and Happy, desperate to hold on to his top spot, recruits Shooter to teach him how to get into the new guys head.

Doesn't Sandler have some huge deal with Netflix? His new material has sucked so they probably told him to go back to the Well. Might see a Water boy 2 where he comes back to the Mud Dogs to coach.

RIP Carl Weathers aka "Chubbs". Yes I know his character died in the first movie.

Love those ideas. It HAS to be Happy and Shooter teaming up.

I would rather see a Rocky III style bromance between former rivals than a Last Jedi type of fate for Gilmore where he essentially wins the Masters at the end of one movie and we next see him waking up on the floor surrounded by beer bottles at the beginning of the second movie after having fricked up his career somehow.

The biggest sin of filmmakers in recent years has been turning heroes into losers in order to create a unique (and often shitty) plot for an unnecessary sequel.
