We go @ Chiefs MNF, home Bucs, home Broncos TNF

It looks like the Chiefs and Ravens have the same issue on their schedules at different points

I know it’s not breaking news, but Roger Goodell is a cocksucking hypocrite

the commentary about looking out for players safety is pretty disingenuous when you pile on a lot of games like that in short time period.

It's all about revenue to the league and I don't know who in the hell they are trying to kid.

The cap keeps going up, so players will bite their tongues

We will beat the Broncos. Put your money on it. Circle it on your calendar because DA did. It's the one game this season the players will go all out for. Whatever you can afford put it on the Saints to win.

This is how you make a supposed easy schedule difficult. The Saints seem to get something like this every schedule.

Oh yeah, certain players will benefit with huge deals, but it's never roses for everyone.

It’s funny how far away the league has gotten from player safety now.

Dumbis Allen is licking his chops at having excuses for at least three losses

All teams should get 2 bye weeks, and they shouldn’t have Thursday night games every week. Teams should only play in Thursday nights coming off of a bye week

As they should if they want the big bucks.

I wonder if we'll start to see NFL players take games off like the NBA for "load management" with scheduling like this.

I know the amount of games makes it different, but so does the physicality of each sport and I imagine playing 3 NFL games in the span of 10 days is going to be difficult for some. Hopefully, it doesn't lead to too many injuries.

This is not unique to the Saints. The Texans, Chiefs, Ravens and Steelers all play 3 games in 10 days Dec 15-25. Any team that plays a Thursday without the bye week in between will play at minimum 3 games in 11 days.

The only surprise is that they’re not all road games with a west coast trip thrown in.

We’ll definitely beat the Broncos. But we will lose to the Panthers… TWICE!

I keep seeing 3 games in 10 days everywhere. Am I the only one who thinks it’s 11 days?

1 - Monday (Gameday)
2 - Tuesday
3 - Wednesday
4 - Thursday
5 - Friday
6 - Saturday
7 - Sunday (Gameday)
8 - Monday
9 - Tuesday
10 - Wednesday
11 - Thursday (Gameday)

Not arguing that playing 3 football games in that short of time is ridiculous, but how is that 10 days?

Two short weeks out of three, including one on the road. That should be against scheduling policy.

Your post title got me too… 3 games in 10 days absolutely does sound ridiculous.

But it’s actually 3 games in 11 days, so you’re either deceitful or you can’t count. Even still… the normal Sunday, Sunday, Thursday for all teams is 3 games in 12 days. So we’re complaining about 1 more day??

It’s not that big of a stretch. It’s actually deceptive. Nothingburger unless all 3 are road games. But the final 2 are at home.

ETA: Trust me … I get it… we get 8 days before Chiefs. Then we go short weeks. Both are home games.

I hate the NFL and I detest Goodell. They clearly love to frick the Saints , but this isn’t it.
