Which coach has more work cut out for them? Raymond or Bo Davis?

Raymond has more bodies but not high end talent. Is recruiting high end players though

Davis let’s just say is working with what he’s got. Doesn’t seem to be recruiting as well as Raymond at this point though. Davis is the best in the business at development. He’ll make every player go from car salesman to draft eligible.

Bonus: edge rushers are going to be chaos in the backfield this year

Why not both?

Bo Davis imo. Raymond has more talent in the DB room. The majority of our talent on the DL is at DE and Bo doesn’t event coach the edge guys.

Your handle gave me PTSD

Both have a tough job, but I think Davis has more work cut out for him.

I don't think it's Davis not recruiting as well. He appears to be recruiting his arse off but right now a defensive tackles seem to be in high demand for a lot or top programs. And there have only been so many solid ones out there. Smith and Wingo going pro isn't on him. He just has a hard hill to climb. He knew it when he took the job.

Davis.
Raymond has more ammunition to work with, if only slightly.

The best news is if they just slightly improve their own units, the other's units are going to be that much better. It'll work in a cycle and hopefully mid-season everyone trusts each other and we get on a roll.

Bo Davis but from a negative impact on the team standpoint I think the DBs could easily be a bigger problem.
