The claimed narrative of 1882 is complete and obvious utter bullsh#. This is another Olde World structure, its actual date of construction (like all the others) is un-documented, ergo unknown.

We see the same narratives playing out all the time, whether in North America, Europe (or even Australia.)
The narrative-claimed biographies (Wiki usually) of the alleged designers / master builders of similar amazing structures are often quite similar -- vague, ambiguous, making little sense, with little detail of the work or plans, or any tangible evidence the support anything claimed.
