A hardened grid doesn’t mean you can’t lose power. It means it can be restored quicker.

Also it will take a hot minute to build up to that standard.

Some of it will mean new poles by spacing them closer together and encasing the base in tubes. And using concrete poles where needed. If you thought a wooden pole falling on your car would leave a mark, a concrete one may make it a pancake.
