It's probably not much more than a landing strip in the jungle with a few barracks and a couple of guard towers.

The rest of the 110 million is for employees at the State Dept and DC Politicians.

Then again, it may be a bigly beautiful air base with tactical importance to stopping the spread of terrorism.

There is so much ch gross fraud, waste and abuse in our government…I saw it first hand in my deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan…we would build a multi million dollar airstrip just to abandon it as soon as it’s complete because “strategy” changes…makes me sick how much our so called leadership is so good at wasting taxpayer money!!

But it's really not-there are a lot of bad actors from outside Niger that are causing problems in Niger.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but geopolitics requires all forms of influence. Airbases and anti-terror activities in Niger help our goal in keeping the war on Islamoterrorists on another continent, keeps our influence in Africa, and keeps bad actors from receiving the raw materials to make a nuclear weapon, all while our service men and women have a low risk of casualties, while getting hands-on training fighting Islamoterrorists.

It’s unfathomable how this horseshite WH sends these freaks to represent America as if they’d get an ounce of respect.
