They thought putting a blatant liar on the stand as Cohen is, was a good idea. The stupidity.

Yeah, he’s a bumbling mess. It’s actually quite feasible this jury might let him off given how badly this is going and Trump clearly didn’t commit a crime, especially with the two lawyers on the jury.

Most of the jury could still vote to convict based on the judge’s instructions.
The two lawyers would know better, most likely, but it is a question as to whether they would oppose it.

Cooper nailed Cohen's tell when he's caught in a lie. That would be great for the defense to lead with that observation to challenge Cohen's next lie. Too bad they won't keep Cohen on the stand Monday he's doing a great job for DJT.

SFP could feel his heart sink and his testes shrivel even further. Was he wrong? Was the whole thing just an elaborate Soviet style show trial? Was it possible Michael Cohen was just a clown? Was everything he believed a lie? Were the redneck and racists and scary homophobes on Tigerdroppings correct the whole time? Had he really written 22,899 posts with some variation of “ we got him now “ all for naught? Was his entire life an empty lie ? He pondered this briefly and then he heard a voice as clear as day, like Moses from the Mount say “ naaaaahhhhhhhh” and he began to maniacally shite post about The Bad Orange Man again and again….

I've only had scant experience on being a juror. But I recall that jurors are barred from using any expertise in deliberations - they are required to stay within the bounds of how the case was presented and defended by the attorneys.
They can use their own mentality in evaluating the logic/truth of whatever they heard - but cannot try to influence any other juror based on their own expertise.
Been a long time - memory not so good. could be a lot of nuances in what the real facts are
if anyone can update that - I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Well their careers may be ruined if they convict Trump for something that’s not even a fricking crime. If there’s anything they can strike Trump on, they’ll probably do it, but they’ve got nothing right now.
