The Nyx leader created this but this was DUMB for the council. There were at least three other parades that violated the minimums for bands and riders and they were not Nyxed. This will end up a lawsuit.

If you’re in a riding Krewe in NOLA you should be concerned that rules are being unevenly applied because of feelz. There are equally as bad parades with similar infractions that weren’t canceled. This ruling is very subjective which means that if the mob doesn’t like something a krewe does (“oh look, I caught confederate beads! Gasp!) the city can come after your parade permit. Bad precedent being set here.

Move the parade to another area.
On a side note, Terrebonne is looking to make parades longer with up to now 45 floats and a minimum of 10, in case Hercules gets any larger. I think this year they were right at the max. With 10 more floats Hercules will be the first parade that rolls all night long from sunset to sunrise.
