People who argue by being dishonest about the most obvious of things amuse me.

It’s as if you think denying truth means it doesn’t exist.

Stopped right there. It doesn't matter if you haven't seen something. Things can occur outside your field of vision. What a psychotic response.

I get it. Your problem is with Sorbo and not what Butker said.

What a moronic take. His implication is that NFL players are not criticized for the bad behaviors they engage in, which absolutely not true. Guys like Sorbo just shovel out the shite for morons to eat. Enjoy your meal.

Yeah you're not really well informed here:

Current NFL Players Arrested Multiple Times

quote:

Top 27 Current NFL Players with Felonies (Short Version)

Jonathan Babineaux – Faced drug and animal abuse charges.
Khalif Barnes – Arrested for reckless driving and DUI.
Ahmad Bradshaw – Arrested for drug possession and probation violation.
Kenny Britt – Has multiple arrests including for DUI, drugs, and theft.
Marcell Dareus – Faced reckless driving and drug charges.
Elvis Dumervil – Arrested for assault/battery and weapons charges.
Nick Fairley – Arrested for DUI and drugs.
Everson Griffen – Arrested for assault/battery and alcohol-related offenses.
Vincent Jackson – Arrested three times, including for DUI.
Sebastian Janikowski – Faced assault/battery, alcohol, DUI, and drug charges.
Adam Jones – Multiple arrests, including for assault/battery and drugs.
Marshawn Lynch – Arrested for DUI, weapons, drugs, and reckless driving.
Brandon Marshall – Arrested for domestic violence, DUI, and disorderly conduct.

Despite high-profile cases, many NFL players’ transgressions remain underreported, with the league often prioritizing its image over disciplining individuals.

Again, not a lot they want to cover here, but the NFL wants to come out and distance themselves from Butker ASAP.

It's pretty clear no one goes after the players as hard for the things he cited. But keep your head in the sand

My point is it’s kind of fricked up for them to post his address. Like, really bizarre.

42 chiefs have arrest records
Kc kicker now has the #1 jersey sales in the NFL. That part is encouraging and should tell the NFL something

You’ll never convince me that this country isn’t primarily right leaning. Only reason Dems can muscle a majority is because of fraud.

A few things about some of the ridiculous assumptions in this thread:

1) Harrison Butker had every right to say what he said, however er that does not mean he is free from some people criticizing him.

2) Harrison Butker will be kicking for the Chiefs this upcoming season. Reid and the Hunt family are not going to let his comments at a graduation at a Catholic College get in the way of a guy who makes close to 90% (94% last year) of his field goals and last year ALL of his PAT'S

3) People will forget about this by Saturday when some new outrage gets in the way.

4) Ray Rice paid a HEAVY price for that punch. He has yet to ever play a down in the NFL since 2013 and that is despite the fact that he was still an incredibly productive player in the prime of his career

5) Ray Lewis is another story. IIRC it was determined that it was self defense by Miami PD

Bro what the hell.

There are some wild folks around here but I don’t think I consistently disagree with anyone more than I do with you.

I can’t imagine how terrible spending an hour with you would be.

True.

But the left goes far beyond criticizing. And that's the issue. You're conflating criticizing with the constant campaigns against anything that doesn't align with progressive thought.

They focus public pressure on people and our pathetic institutions typically cave. And so do people with those opinions. They don't criticize, they put people's livelihood at risk to shut them up.

We can't just disagree and criticize anymore. They must destroy.

You must have flunked reading comprehension. There is no moral equivalence in the two points.
