That is Pittsburgh BBQ. Burnt on the outside and extra raw in the middle

we were talking about that in the office. Yes we all agree it's good, but it ain't the best bbq in Arkansas. We just went there last week, but they are on the top half of the best bbq spots in Little Rock

Naman’s in Texarkana is really good, eat there every time we go up to the Quachitas.

Truth is, I love barbecue.

Grew up going to Sonny Bryan’s. Then frequented Bridges in Shelby NC.

I like Memphis, Alabama, NC, SC, South Ga, and even Sonnys in Jville. Also had Brother Jimmys in Manhattan. Pierces in Williamsburg VA is different.

I’ve only had bad barbecue two times or so.

Goldees is by far the best in Texas

But is it since Chuck left and Jonny is off on his side quests?

BTW, barbs is pretty damn tasty over in Lockhart.

Top to bottom, I love me some Leroy & Lewis in Austin.

Lesser known, go check out LJ's in Brenham
Damn good.

Northwest Arkansas is pretty weak when it comes to BBQ. Wrights, Whole hog cafe and Smokin Joe's are what I like in the area.

They have a fantastic restaurant. Food is very good. I eat there often. I can say with all certainty, they would not make the top 25 in Texas, and I am not a Texan. Not even close!

I believe it started as a food truck then business grew and they bought a small house in Johnson.

It was cramped and they were weighing the meat portions in front of me and if it was too much then they took some off. Also it was pricey for small portions and I didn't visit again.

I didn't have that problem at the Bentonville location.

My personal favorites are Craigs in Devalls bluff and Hoots in Mcgehee

I'm from Stuttgart so I'm partial to Ms. Kibbs bbq spot, right there on park avenue. Her ex-husband owns Kibbs 2 on the other side of town, but the ex-wife does hers better IMO

We've tried Count Porkula a few times and it's gotten steadily worse each time. I'm not a big fan of Little Rock bbq.

How would you compare them to other BBQ joints in Arkansas?

Joe’s KC is definitely up there. I don’t know how Q39 made the list though, but I am no fan of yuppie Q.
