Herring hasn't pitched twice in one weekend all year. Shame we had to go to him tonight but it was 100% the right call after Guidry sucked

I feel like this is a joke I don’t understand

But yes, despite some thinking Jay burned 5 pitchers tonight,
Everyone is available other than Jump

FWIW, I don't think that's correct. From JML in the game thread...

Pitch counts:

Little 15
Ack 21
Guidry 14
Herring 10

Your point does still stand though.

Agreed but lets hope he's sharp. Not.only did he only throw 9p but he got hot really quick too.

Would love to get the W tomorrow and start him in game 3.

Yes all will be available for an inning or two for sure. Best case is let Holman be on tomorrow and get through 7-8 with a decent lead and use other people to close it out to where these guys have an inning or 2 for Sunday ready to roll

Absolutely right! Guidry makes me nervous though. He completely lost his command after getting the 1 strikeout.

Last year we had 3 pitchers do things in post season what they hadn’t done all year.

I wonder fricking why? Report back with his pitch count each time. It’s do or die time. If he’s needed again he will fricking pitch.
