Do what and see how what turns out? Players unionizing? Lolololol what would colleges be able to do about it? NFL prospects don’t actually “need” colleges. They “could” be drafted into the NFL right away. Woukd they start immediately? Probably not, but look at the huge signing contract baseball players get just to play a few years in the minor leagues. The NFL could be no different. Sign with a team, practice with said team for a few years, get a few in game reps here and there.. Trust me. If these top rated players unionized and decided as a group “We aren’t doing the bullshite college thing anymore. We want to be signed to the NFL immediately” the NFL would absolutely start signing them out of high school.
