Of course the PGA may have to disqualify him based on conduct unbecoming. Would be a terrible precedent to ignore their own policy because of who Scheffler is.

The charges will get reduced or dropped and this will be just a funny memory in a few months

assuming the felony is stemming from the cop being dragged for a while after deciding to latch onto his car before it stopped
im going to go out to Jackson St today and jump on a police car. I wonder if I get in trouble or they do.

Cop “You assaulted me!”
Me “You jumped on my car”
Cop”I have a vest on motherfricker”

he’ll pay a fine for the traffic offense and everything else will be dropped. Officer will be quietly and unofficially reprimanded, while the city publicly pretends to have his back. Scottie will apologize for the misunderstanding and move on.

I'd bet money on this is exactly what happens; otherwise, Louisville will never host a major PGA event again

Do you think the PGA should just ignore a felony charge?

Then how is it germane to this post? We aren’t naming all the hypothetical situations for which we could be stopped in traffic.

Was there not a pedestrian killed? You think any of this happens of there wasn't an accident? Its just a conversation.

The PGA will absolutely ignore it because the entire ordeal is nonsense and they know it will be dropped. If they cut scheffler out of this tournament they will get absolute hell for it from every angle.

No. They should be berating City officials for doing that to one of their biggest stars who is bringing millions of dollars of revenue to their city.

So you're one of those that thinks people should be punished based on a claim or a charge before they've been convicted of anything?

Wow.

Nope, the cop is fricked. There are witnesses and other footage even beyond his own body cam.

I agree, just saying in events like this the officer that made the mistake often has a coincidental body cam malfunction
