My kids go to Christian school in Florida. The school does not accept the money for this very reason. The parents pay the school as normal and then apply for the funds separately and are granted them. The school does nothing but provide info that the student does in fact attend school there.

That school is smart. If the money goes to you, then maybe.....I would be comfortable if they gave you a voucher. You deposit it in your account and then you pay. But you and I KNOW that government would never allow this. They would want to track the money.
