I went to public school through 7th. Private through 12th.

There was no comparison. The private education was substantially better. The teachers were better, the culture was better, and the campus was safer. My experiences are my own, but I’m certain the VAST majority of adults who have experienced both would agree.

I never attended public school until LSU.

I taught public elementary school and I went to private elementary school. The culture and academics of the public elementary schools I taught at were superior to the catholic elementary school I attended.

I had a great and rigorous private high school experience and plan to send my kids to private school once they enter middle school.

We are very happy with their public elementary school experiences.

I have a Granddaughter at one good public school in LA.

She's an exceptional student and works at her own pace though. AP classes.

She completed the first 6 years in Alaska, then moved to La. Schools are a joke there compared to Juneau. Our schools focused on the excellent students. LA public schools focus on the lower achievers.
