Tommy and JJ are excellent hitters, but come up empty way too often when the situation just calls for putting a bat on the ball

Bear needs to come back next year. Dude got 3 straight breaking balls and wasn’t close to any of them

Hopefully those at bats dont cost us. I hate to waste the base runners we do get.

Sucks they both got down 0-2 so they had to protect the plate, but those were ugly swings.
