I am not for going through another young QB. But that said, I haven't seen anything from JJ or JL that would tell me they should be giving the starting job just because they have a experience. If either of them start, IMO, we will be 7-5 or 8-4. HOPE I AM WRONG.

If CG is heads above them in fall practise then I say why not. Even with him starting we go 7-5 or 8-4 so let him get the growing pains.

I really think it should be an open competition through fall and whomever is the best, play them reguardless. If they are all about even. then you go with experience..

What is the difference in CG having a 7-5 or 8-4 growing pain season and JL or JJ having 8-5 and 9-4 growing pain seasons? I understand that they did not look that great, but I think that is to be expected when going through "growing pains."

These things need time to play out. Of course it is frustrating to watch a team struggle and finish 112th in total offense, but the fact of the matter is that we have had two starting QBs in the last two years and sometimes it takes more than one season for a QB to mature into a quality player.
