I'll be completely honest here, I had a badass deck until I traded it for Star Wars cards. Fwiw, I was my school's goalie in soccer too (soccer is actually big up in New Hampshire).

I have boxes of thousands of cards somewhere. My parents even imported some in glass cases from Japan.

They feel as stupid about it as I do.

I still have my cards somewhere in my attic probably. At least I would think so...I haven't even touched them since high school(and that was only to sigh at how much I probably spent on all those damn packs)

I always had to have Gyarados, Dragonite, and Charizard in my team when I took on the damn Elite 4+1. Those three were beasts

I was 5 when the first games came out.

ETA: No, I was 8. I thought the first generation came out in 1995 for some reason.

I was in elementary school when all this came out fwiw. Its still one of the only decently long games for GB and GBA so I'll dust it off from time to time.

I did squirtle and whatever the water one was for gold and silver.

I play the trading card gameboy game and the yellow version from time to time.
