Damnedest thing just happened to me... Hue paired to GE link bulb

What the heck? I have a GE br30 I paired with wink 2 years ago but it's been offline almost the entire time because it's on an old rotary dimmer so I didn't worry about it because if I dimmed the switch at all it would go offline until it finally just quit altogether.

I just upgraded to v2 hue bridge this morning and afterward keyed in a serial number to a new color bulb.

When it finished it showed 2 lights..A color bulb and a dimmable light.

I was messing with the dimmable light setting and that had no effect on the new color bulb then I hear wife yelling from the den wtf is up with the fireplace light? so sure enough it's paired with hue now.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Does anyone know if Go Control makes a multi packs of their door/window sensors? The starter kits are $42 and the individual sensors are $30

I really don't need the motion sensors..

Awesome, Did you update the relay after? I'm not sure if an update knocks out all the stuff you just did.

My relay has had a few updates and the side loaded apps remained. I loaded an app called Assistive Touch. It gives you access to your apps from the wink screens

1 relay down. 4 more to go. I really like the setup he did with Total Launcher where the home screen looks similar to the stock relay app.

Running wink app instead of relay. Allows quicker access to shortcuts and more on screen. For intercom, he uses Zello

No, I don't have any for sale. 4 are in use with 1 still to be installed. They are $70 at Home Depot

is it more responsive? i like what you've done and the biggest issue i have is it takes so long to render my lights while i'm trying to scroll that i end up turning several on/off just trying to scroll.

putting what i need as a shortcut on the screen would be great.

also uber app sucks because it won't let me login with my gmail info like the real app.

App speed isn't going to improve much since the device itself is slow, but not having to deal with winks lock screen makes running shortcuts a lot faster. Proximity sensor instantly wakes to the screen.

Yes, it can control 2 loads, or run shortcuts and smart lights.

Someone has now installed Smartthings on the Relay
